Shocked gran opens newspaper and spots daring lads mag picture of herself from 1955!

A glamorous gran is basque-ing in past glories - after opening a newspaper and spotting herself as the cover girl on a top shelf 1955 lads mag.
And, after recovering from the unexpected surprise, 78-year-old Helen Dunn is glad the world knows she enjoyed a daring past.
The racy shoot shows Helen, who was a top model and married a Manchester United footballer, as a 17-year-old Venus in white furs on the cover of a well-worn copy of top shelf publication Span.
The stockings and suspenders images may be very tame by today’s standards, but back in the day they were considered decidedly raunchy.
The copy was among an “antiques rudeshow” collection of 700 vintage men’s magazines purchased by Oldbury memorabilia collector Tim Beddow, the Birmingham Mail reports .
The 78-year-old spotted the story after opening the
Sunday Mercury newspaper.
Helen – who posed under the nom de plume Sherry Morris – says: “When I saw the picture I was absolutely shocked.
“I shouted, ‘That’s me!’. I think it’s great, I have no secrets.”
Just like today’s WAGs, Helen, from Stourbridge, married a professional footballer –Manchester United’s Alan Dunn, who played alongside Black Country legend Duncan Edwards.
Alan also turned out for Villa and Birmingham City.
She has no regrets about her brief stint as a model. In fact, the pensioner, who now lives in a Kinver home built by husband Alan, is chuffed to bits that the copy of the mag has survived.
